Black Hawk 14 Inch Chop Saw Blades are the largest cutting disc currently offered by Black Hawk Abrasives. These double reinforced 14 inch chop saw discs are built for general purpose metal cutting. This large 14" cutting wheel can be used to cut a variety of metals and some common uses include cutting angle iron, square box, rectangle box, tubing and rebar. Black Hawks 14 inch chop saw blade is for use on a stationary chop saw. As with all Black Hawk cutting wheels you will find that each disc provides quick cutting, as well as long life. Each disc is double reinforced for safety and durability even during the toughest jobs.
I have used these disks for cutting 2-7/8" pipe with my Makita cut-off saw and have good results from it.
The blades are great, hold up way better than any I have tried at the muffler shop. We do a lot of custom exhaust and these have been so far the best!

replaced a Milwaukee cutting blade, and these are thinner by a 1/16, still noticeable. Not sure why, but cutting through 3/8" thick 6x3 angle iron ruined the Milwaukee blade. I put on the EE blade, and immediately saw the cut width difference, realigned for the finish side. Ended up making 3 other cuts. Can't say it was any faster or slower, but... when I took the blade off to compare it to the new ones, it was still the same size - no apparent wear. that was pretty cool. I'll keep buying these if they are going to last like that!
