14” Yellow Airway Buff with 5” Center Plate and 1-1/4” Arbor Hole is an ideal secondary step in the polishing process. These yellow buffs consisted of 16 premium cotton layers, also know as 16 ply, which provide an excellent use-able life. These cotton layers are mill treated with yellow for an increased stiffness, allowing the buffs to cut and color effectively. The yellow airway buffs are 15% less stiff than their blue counterparts making it better for coloring than cutting. These airway buffs come equipped with a 5 inch center plate that when attached creates pleats in the mill treated fabric flaps. This pleating allows for the passage of air when spinning which effectively cools the buff, extending its life and protecting the work piece. These airway buffs are designed to be used on industrial polishing machines or commercial pedestal buffers. Combine the yellow airway buff with green rouge buffing compound for optimal results.
