3” Steel Angle Grinder Arbor Extensions are designed to extend the length of the angle grinder shaft to allow for safe use and addition buffs if desired. The 3” extension nut attaches to all right-angle grinders with 5/8” threaded receiver. The angle grinder extender adds 2” of separation between the buff and the grinder. The threaded portion, where the buffing wheel attaches is 1-1/4″ long allowing for two buffing wheels to be used simultaneously. One should never use a right-angle grinder without having an extender to safely push the buffing wheel out and provide a safe distance for the operator. MADE IN USA.

I have used this adapter with the 10 inch buff wheels on a variable speed buff grinder. This provides very good results on stainless steel plate.
Does exactly what is supposed to do
It seemed to hold the buffing wheel lock nuts very well. it is an essential part of my polishing kit.
We use this tool to extend the blade away from our workers hands to ensure they are safe while grinding welds and sanding.
Works great. Now I have enough room to use my airway buffs with the safety flanges. It also gives you more clearance for your hand when holding the grinder.
