This Black Hawk Abrasives unmounted flap wheel is 6 inches across with 1.5 inch wide sanding flaps and a 1 inch center arbor hole.

• X-Weight Cloth Flaps - A stiff and thick backing that is more durable than paper and film based options designed to wear down at a slower rate and get a cleaner grind.
• Aluminum Oxide Abrasives - Premium abrasive grains capable of sanding and grinding more materials like metal, wood, rubber, fiberglass, and plastic.
• Conforms to Shapes - Pedestal/Bench grinder flap wheels are great for rounded and irregular shaped surfaces like pipes, tubes, and edging. Also useful on flat surfaces.

What is an Unmounted Flap Wheel?
These are specialty abrasive products designed to provide long lasting grinding over surfaces that are either flat or irregular shapes or contoured. Each of our 6 inch flap wheels is constructed with multiple flaps, or strips, of sanding paper fanning out around a 1 inch center hold arbor. As you grind down a surface with the flapper wheels, the outermost pieces of the flaps wear away, constantly exposing fresh abrasives, making them last longer than most other products.
