6” x 1/4" x 7/8” Grinding Wheels by Black Hawk Abrasives are designed for aggressive grinding and heavy stock removal. Each 6 inch grinding disc is manufactured with multiple layers of high tensil strength fiberglass mesh and premium 24 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains, R grade resin bonded together creating a safe, fast grinding and long lasting disc. The fiberglass mesh increases the structural integrity of the disc. The aluminum oxide grains are some of the most popular in the abrasive industry due to their durability. R bond grade hardness offer the best of both worlds; it is soft enough to allow fast stock removal but hard enough to prolong the useful life of the disc which means less changing. These 6 inch grinding wheels are made to be attached to a 6" angle grinder, and are the perfect abrasive wheel for general grinding, removing weld splatter or rust. Use this 6” x 1/4" x 7/8" grinding disk on steel, stainless steel, all ferrous metals, iron pipe, metal tubing or bar stock.
