9” x 11” Emery Cloth Sheets feature natural emery grain electrostatic coated to strong yet flexible cotton backing. Emery cloth is best use on metal surfaces and is particularly effective at removing rust, scale, corrosion, paints as well as general sanding and polishing. Emery cloth has a cotton cloth backing making it stronger and more durable than sandpaper and thus better for metal applications. Emery should not be used on wood work pieces as the properties of the emery grain may damage natural wood. Emery cloth can be used on ferrous metals, brass, iron, aluminum steel, stainless steel, bronze and most other alloys. Available in 36 grit, 40 grit, 50 grit, 60 grit, 80 grit, 100 grit, 120 grit, 150 grit, 180 grit, 220 grit, 240 grit, and 320 grit.
