9” x 11” Non-Loading Finishing Sandpaper Sheets feature Silicon Carbide abrasive grains and a special zinc stearate to prevent loading or gumming up during use. In abrasive language, the term “loaded up” is used to describe how the grooves of a coated abrasive becomes filled with residue, making the paper ineffective long before the abrasive grains have worn down. With Silicon carbide no load paper this situation is prevented using a stearate lubricant powder. Additionally, the lubricant of the load resistant silicon carbide sandpaper makes the paper heat resistant which will better protect the work piece and further lengthen the use-able life of the paper itself.  This SC finishing sand paper with non-loading coating is the perfect choice for stripping paint or dry sanding on metal, plastic, fiberglass, and wood (This paper should NOT be used for wet applications). 9 inch no load finishing silicon carbide sanding paper comes in 80 grit, 120 grit, 150 grit, 180 grit, 220 grit, 240 grit, 320 grit, and 400 grit.
