Official Rules for Promotions and Giveaways
From time to time, Empire Abrasives (“we,” “us,” or “our”) may run sweepstakes, contests, or giveaways (“Promotions”) on our website or through our official social media channels. By participating in any Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these general terms, as well as any additional terms and conditions provided in the official rules for each specific Promotion.
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win any Promotion. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Unless otherwise stated in the official rules, Promotions are open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Promotions are void where prohibited by law.
Employees, officers, and directors of Empire Abrasives and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members are not eligible to enter or win
3. HOW TO ENTER
Entry instructions for each Promotion will be provided in the relevant social media post or on the Promotion landing page. Typical entry methods may include commenting on a post, following our account, or other simple actions. Only one entry per person unless otherwise specified. Automated or bulk entries are prohibited.
4. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY (AMOE)
If a Promotion requires more than a simple like or comment to enter, or if otherwise required by law, an alternate free method of entry will be provided in the official rules. All AMOE entries will be treated with equal weight to other eligible entries.
5. PROMOTION PERIOD
The start and end dates and times for each Promotion will be clearly stated in the relevant post or on the Promotion landing page. Entries received outside the stated period will not be eligible.
6. PRIZE DETAILS
The number of winners, description of the prize(s), and approximate retail value (ARV) will be disclosed in the official rules for each Promotion. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be made except as provided in the official rules.
7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Winners will be selected at random (for sweepstakes) or based on skill/judging criteria (for contests), as described in the official rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via direct message, email, or as otherwise specified. If a winner does not respond within the time specified in the official rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
8. TAXES
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
9. PUBLICITY & PRIVACY
By entering a Promotion, entrants grant Empire Abrasives the right to use their name, likeness, and entry content (such as comments, photos, or videos) for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Personal information collected in connection with a Promotion will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. PLATFORM DISCLAIMERS
Unless otherwise stated, Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any other third-party platform. Entrants release these platforms from any liability related to the Promotion.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Empire Abrasives and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with participation in any Promotion or the awarding, receipt, or use of any prize.

13. OFFICIAL RULES
Each Promotion may have additional official rules, which will be linked in the relevant social media post or Promotion page. In the event of any conflict between these general terms and the official rules for a specific Promotion, the official rules will control.
14. WINNERS LIST
For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor address above, referencing the specific Promotion. Requests must be received within 60 days of the Promotion end date.
