The grinding-inducing additional layer decreases grinding temperature to protect both the belt and the material being worked out. In fact, the ceramic sanding belt is so long lasting that it outlasts the already long life zirconia belt by 50%. These 2x48 ceramic belts are simply the top quality sanding belt on the market today.
