3 Inch Quick Change Surface Conditioning Discs by Black Hawk combine the effectiveness and versatility of the non-woven abrasive with the convenience of the quick change roll-on backing. These discs are made with the highest quality non-woven, open nylon webbing, filled with premium abrasive grains (Equivalent to 3M™ Scotch-Brite™). The strong backing uses a Type R fastening system (Equivalent to 3M™ Roloc™ fastening system) for quick and easy attachment and removal. These discs are perfect for cleaning, finishing and deburring of contoured or irregular surfaces.
Tan (Coarse): 60 - 80 Grit
Red (Medium): 100 - 150 Grit
Blue (Fine): 280 - 360 Grit
I tried the 2" discs and they worked really well, so I thought I would give the 3" discs a try. And honestly I prefer them over the 2" now. More working surface, and gets into much the same spots as the 2", and it's just faster. These are a little spendy compared to surface prep discs for the 4.5" grinder, but for some jobs that's too much tool to hit it with.

Both medium and fine discs work very well. Made making a uniform finish a breeze on stainless and aluminum.
I was very pleased with the selection, price, shipping time, and care that went into my first order with Empire Abrasives. Loved the free stickers I found in the box. Used to collect them as a kid and still have them.
They are pretty good but every once in a while the platic quick change coupler just breaks off right when I start to use it. That is frustrating.
So far product gets in spaces smaller discs can not
