3” x .0625” x 1/4” Cut-Off Wheels by Black Hawk Abrasives are extremely durable die grinder cutting discs known for aggressive cutting. These ‘whiz wheels’ tote a 1/16” thickness, making them both stronger and longer lasting than thinner alternatives. These slicer’s small diameter yet sturdy construction allows for heavy duty cutting in difficult to reach spaces and are particularly useful in the auto body industry where cutting at odd angles is often required. The 3 inch cut off discs are designed with a heat-treated aluminum oxide grain bonding matrix on top of a reinforced fiberglass mesh to ensure safety, stability and longevity. These discs are commonly used with small angle grinders, air cut off tools, die cutters, and die grinders for metal cutting or notching, slicing rusted bolts, chopping through autobody panels, frame rail or exhausts pipe and work well on many types of materials including cast iron, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Other common uses include cutting bar stock, stainless steel tubing, thin wall steel and various pipes.
