6 Inch 6 Hole Gold Hook and Loop Sanding Discs by BHA offer an incredible price-performance ratio and will quickly become your go-to disk for your dual action random orbital sander or rotary sander. These hook and loop backed discs boast premium, gold, heat-treated aluminum oxide grains resin bonded to heavy duty, C-weight backing. Each disc features a load resistant stearate coating to extend the life of the disc by eliminating clogging during use. Aluminum Oxide (A/O) is a tough, durable abrasives grain characterized by the long life of its cutting edges and points. It is the most widely used of the man-made abrasive minerals, with good reason! This grain type is economically priced and well suited for sanding a broad range of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, fiberglass, plastics, as well as on soft and hard woods. These discs feature a full phenolic resin bond system to provide a uniform scratch pattern, heat resistance, increased durability and superb grain adhesion, with the addition of the non loading stearate these discs are very reliable and long lasting. Finally, the C-weight backing affixed with a hook and loop attachment and detachment system (A.K.A. Velcro®-style) backing make adhering and removing the discs simple and fast. These 6" sanding discs come equip with 6 vacuum holes for removal of dust while sanding. Altogether these features make the BHA 6” Velcro sanding disc a convenient, effective and long-lasting hook and loop sanding disc ideal for use on low to medium pressure sanding applications.
