If you are grinding, sanding, deburring or polishing a large surface of heat sensitive material our 7” Ceramic Resin Fiber Discs are the abrasive for the job! Each 7” sanding disc is made with heat-treated ceramic grains that fracture during use. As they fracture, new sharp points are made thus delivering outstanding cutting rates throughout its long, useful life. The abrasive grains are resin bonded to a strong, vulcanized, fiber backing allowing this disc to take on the toughest, high performance metals you can throw at her. These discs are designed for fast stock removal while still remaining cool and minimizing loading, making them perfect for sanding on heat sensitive metals without discoloring or burning them. Additionally, these ceramic discs will last between 50% and 200% longer than discs made with other abrasive grains when used on steel or stainless steel.
