Red Rouge Precious Metal “Jewelers” Polishing Compound is an ultra fine premium polishing compound designed for work on the most sensitive materials including soft non ferrous such as brass or copper and precious metals such as silver and gold. Jewelers red rouge should be used as a final step polish as it has no capacity to cut. The premium composition of this compound quickly brings out the color and shine of jewelry and other fine pieces. As one may expect these products should only be used with soft loose or spiral sewn flannel or muslin buffs. Although this red rouge is the only compound safe for precious metals it can also be used with great results on all other metals for an absolute final high shine polish. This is a 3 pound buffing compound bar that is considered to be a large industrial size. The dimensions are 10.5” in length, 2.5” in width, and 2” in height. MADE IN USA.

Definitely does not remove any swirls or scratches from stainless steel. I know it was stated to not have abrasives, but I did expect a brilliant shine with some smoothing.

This polishing bar is awesome. I'm using it to polish my Gold Plated trumpets and mouth pieces. It works very well, but like anything you want looking good, it takes time and elbow grease. Very good product.
This red rouge works ok. Would rather have a little dryer, but this works.
Was told the red rouge would remove light scratches from glass made it worse.waste of $50
