1" x 1" Spiral bands are aluminum oxide coated abrasives that are spirally bound into a short tube and used for high precision grinding, sanding or polishing. The no lap construction of these sanding sleeves provides a clean finish without leaving shadow marks on the surface. Each 1" wide and 1" long spiral band is made with premium aluminum oxide grains that are resin bonded to a sturdy cloth backing which creates an abrasive roll that is both fast cutting and resilient. This small 1 inch x 1 inch abrasive spiral band is perfect for work in confined areas and can be used on both flat and contoured surfaces. These 1" x 1" spiral bands are a very versatile abrasive that can be used for deburring, sanding, blending, polishing or grinding to remove parting lines. Additionally, this abrasive tube can be used on ferrous metal, aluminum, wood. This spiral band requires a rubber drum mandrel and is made to be used on die grinders or rotary drills.
