It does what i want it to do, clean up the metal really good and also clean up the welds.
These discs are well worth the money! They strip the rust and paint with almost no damage to the metal!
I love these disks for cleaning mill scale off of cold rolled steel. They remove the scale without removing steel. The clean surface is easy to prep for paint. I've used similar disks from big box stores and they all disappoint. These last three as long and are a third the price.
I use a lot of painted and rusty steel on projects. This is the most effective and longest lasting disk to prepare old steel to paint. Better than flap disks!
The Black Hawk blue disc worked very well at cutting old paint off of my '55 Chevrolet. This is tough paint.
