Our 4-1/2” Ceramic Resin Fiber Discs use the newest advancement in abrasive grain technology. Each Ceramic Fibre Disc features heat-treated ceramic grains with a lubricated ceramic coating adhered to a heavy duty vulcanized fiber backing. These ceramic sanding disc are designed to cut fast, stay cool, and have minimal loading. This means, these resin fiber sanding discs will last long even against the toughest high performance metals and alloys. Ceramic grain fiber discs last 50% to 200% longer than other abrasive grains on steel and stainless steel. These Ceramic resin fiber discs are especially effective for aggressive stock removal on a heat sensitive material. These discs will not discolor or burn the work material.

These are great for removing rust and paint for auto body work. Long lasting, probably the best disc I have used.
I got the 80 grit to sand down stainless and they work pretty good as long as you go in one direction, don’t try to go every direction like a grinder or flap disc. Other than that they knock a weld down quick and last a little longer than competitors
Runs cooler than a grinding disc. Lasts at least 10 times longer than an aluminum oxide sanding pad. 1 will smooth at least 12 feet of stainless steel weld 1/4" wide 1/64 high. Actually saves money using them. Caution: use a very light touch. Also saves grinder wear and tear!

Since I bought these in belt form my 2 x 40 sander in past love them.they have fast metal removal and last and last . Now I’ll try them in disc hoping for the same great results.
