Black Hawk Zirconia Flap Discs consist of sanding strips adhered to a strong fiberglass backing plate in an overlapping circular pattern. Each sanding strip is made using premium Zirconia grain and European cloth. These discs are built for precision, durability and ease of use. Flap Discs are an essential tool for right angle metal grinding applications, and can be used in place of both grinding wheels and resin fiber discs. Zirconia is a long-life premium abrasive that works well on stainless steel, hard steel, titanium and various others. A Zirconia Flap Disc continually produces new sharp points, creating faster cutting and a longer lifespan than aluminum oxide varieties.
