The 4-1/2” x 1/16” x 7/8” Cut-Off Wheels by Black Hawk Abrasives feature .0625” of premium aluminum oxide grains bonded to reinforced high strength fiberglass mesh and heat treated for additional durability and longevity of the discs. These discs have been designed with increased thickness to stand up to the more aggressive cutting jobs. Additionally, the 1/16” thickness of these Type 1 flat cutting wheels allows for a longer lifespan than thinner cut-off wheels and helps protect against dangerous side loading. These 4.5” x 1/16” x 7/8” discs are commonly used on a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder for a wide range of metal cutting including but not limited to cutting rebar, slicing angle iron, and removing rusted bolts and can be used on cast iron, stainless steel or steel as well as fiberglass and plastics.
