Product Description

Pointed Cone Tungsten Carbide Bur, Double Cut - 1/4" Diameter Shank

Black Hawk Abrasives Pointed End Tungsten Carbide Bur, Double Cut with 1/4" Shank is designed for vibration-free precision cutting, fast stock removal, and long useable life. These carbide rotary burrs feature precision ground flutes cut from premium tungsten carbide using five axis CNC machines. The flutes are affixed to the 1/4” shank during a soldering and sintering process that uses silver, which preserves the cobalt content thus increasing each burrs lateral strength and durability.

These die grinder bits are SM cone shape with double cut teeth. SM pointed nose cone burr bits can be used for a wide variety of applications but excel at contouring in narrow areas as well as surface machining. Double cut means the flutes are cross-cut which creates smaller chips resulting in faster cutting, superior operator control, and reduced loading. Double cut rotary files like these are the ideal choice for harder materials such as steel, stainless steel, or ferrous metals as well as titanium, nickel, fiberglass, plastic, and hard rubber.

These tungsten carbide burrs with 1/4-inch shank diameter attach to pencil grinders, die grinders or rotary grinders (electric or pneumatic).

(SOLD INDIVIDUALLY)

Replacement bits

It was doing a great job removing some real rough nasty keel bolt plugs and finally broke at the finish. I bought a new replacement to keep the set intact and bought some other bits. Shipping makes it pricey but worth it.

Great product in price and quality.

We are in the process of rebuilding a 108 volume court docket roller shelf bookcase. We needed to ream 324 slots slots in 1/8" steel shelf brackets. After a third of the holes were reamed using this bit, you could barely notice any wear.

This is like an army Swiss knife!

When you have a task to do! Cut through metal like butter! I work for a metal fabrication company, when I have to deburr Parts this is my go-to tool. You don't have to apply pressure it cuts very quick. It actually kind of shocked me because it did so well the first time I used it! I'm using the quarter inch tapered shaft like a pencil and also I'm using the drum cylinder. Approximately cuts my work in half! Great tool have in your tool box!
